Job Summary

Perficient is looking for a BI Architect, that will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions that drive strategic and operational decision-making within the organization. You will work closely with business and technology teams to understand information requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and design effective and efficient data architectures

What do you need to come aboard?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions.
Deep understanding of relational and non-relational database technologies, as well as query languages (SQL, MDX, etc.).
Experience in designing dimensional data models and optimizing queries.
Familiarity with popular BI tools and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.
Experience in ETL development and data integration from multiple sources.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Relevant certifications in BI and databases are a plus (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite Certified Implementation Specialist, etc.).

To Rock This Role, You Should

Collaborate with business teams to understand information requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions
Design and develop robust data architectures supporting data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources.
Create dimensional data models and perform optimizations to ensure optimal query performance.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for continuous data integration and process automation.
Evaluate and select BI tools and emerging technologies to keep BI infrastructure current and competitive.
Work with security teams to ensure data integrity and protection at all stages of the BI process.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to BI development teams in solution implementation.
Conduct comprehensive testing of BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Create and maintain technical and design documentation for all implemented BI solutions.
Stay abreast of trends and best practices in the field of business intelligence and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
